My name is Jared Gallegos.  I am an individual who is passionate about higher education, particularly for those who come from backgrounds that are generally underrepresented in the ranks of higher education.  

In Our Footsteps is an organization that is dedicated to sharing the stories of those who aspired to, and achieved, the highest levels of education or occupation despite significant cultural, socioeconomic or familial challenges. My goal is to provide a place where the stories of some of these remarkable individuals can be shared so that they may inspire the next generation of learners.
